"Mira has been my wonderful introduction to meditation. She has been a terrific influence and I am planning to continue with meditating."

--Ana M, Florida

"I truly enjoyed Mira's largely silent guided meditation today. It was restful and helped me to be centered. I felt safe in the space and I felt welcome within a community that is new to me. Thank you all for the practice."

--Karen M., Washington DC

About my practice

I practice and teach Vipassana insight meditation. I attended my first meditation event at Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, CA as a freshman in college. I have continued my practice steadily since then for the past nearly 20 years, including on multiple silent residential meditation retreats. My teachers include James Baraz, Oren Jay Sofer, Tara Brach, Jack Kornfield, and Susie Harrington, among others. I have been offering an online meditation class since May 2020 and am currently participating in a two-year meditation teacher training program. I am also studying Hakomi Mindful Somatic Psychology which informs my work in mindfulness meditation and in Argentine tango.
