4-Week Intro to Mindfulness Class Series

I am currently participating in a mindfulness meditation teacher training. As a part of this program, I will be offering a 4-week online Introduction to Mindfulness course. It is freely offered. Participants are asked to attend all 4 sessions if at all possible and to submit a feedback survey at the end of the course.
In this 4-week Introduction to Mindfulness course, we will explore the foundational practices of mindfulness and loving awareness as they relate to mindfulness of the breath, body, and of thoughts and emotions. We will learn about common challenges to our mindfulness practice and ways to bring the practice into our daily lives to foster more ease, compassion, and kindness to ourselves and others.
This course is open to everyone, regardless of your background or experience in meditation or mindfulness, and is welcoming of people from all different backgrounds and identities. While these teachings have their roots in Buddhism (Vipassana insight practice), this course is welcoming and accessible to individuals of all faith backgrounds.

Weekly Online Meditation Class
8:30-9am Pacific Time
We will meditate together for about 25-30 minutes. I will offer guided meditations on mindfulness of the breath, body, sensations, thoughts, feelings and emotions etc. Mindfulness meditation, starting with awareness of our breath, can help reduce anxiety and lead to states of peace and equanimity. New and experienced meditators welcome. Questions and sharing welcome at the very beginning and end of class.
